Launching “The New Seasons at Keystone”
I’ve learned a lot in the last 3 months. And I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be the lead sales representative for 40 new construction condos in Keystone, Colorado. The location is serene and beautiful, the floor plans are functional, the finishes are gorgeous, and the buyers who get to call these home are very lucky indeed. The project is called The New Seasons at Keystone, and it has been my obsession for months.
From the moment that I listed the land and development rights with my husband, Darren, I knew that I wanted to be a part of this special project. Back in 2002, Intrawest Development and Vail Resorts built “The Seasons at Keystone” which consists of 4 buildings with 32 units on a parcel of land that sits on a hill above the Snake River and Lakeside Village. But they never built Phase 2, which is 40 additional units of density on this gorgeous parcel of land. It wasn’t until 2017 when Vail Resorts decided to sell the land that it became available for development.
I have been fortunate enough to not only assist in the sale of the land and development rights, but also to be able to represent Seasons Development Group as it constructs and sells the remaining 40 condominium units. To put the project into perspective, there have been no new condominium units built in Keystone since the original Seasons at Keystone. That was 16 years ago! And while new townhome product has been abundant in our market, the price point of 3 bedroom units with attached garages is above the budget of many vacation home buyers. For the first time in 16 years, we will have brand new construction condos coming on the market! We have been selling units with outdated finishes for so many years, that I think the local real estate brokers will do a “happy dance” at this new project!
Launching this project was, I thought, going to be a piece of cake. Get a logo, get a website, and start selling! But I often underestimate the amount of work something takes, and also don’t appreciate that my perfection tendencies may get in the way here or there. For three months I have been working with the developer, Michael O’Sullivan, my design and marketing team, Katie Wilks and Kate Ankeny, the architect Todd Webber, and a team of real estate brokers from Your Castle Summit and Your Castle Real Estate, to put together what I know is going to be an exciting real estate product launch. Stay tuned for our website, brochure and other collateral where you can learn how to become an owner at the New Seasons at Keystone.
The branding comes from my heart, from collaboration with the developer, and from a talented design team. We wanted to capture the beauty of the location, the feeling of the Colorado lifestyle, and the excitement of brand new contemporary condos. Our special tree logo took a number of iterations (thank you Kate for your patience), but it turned out perfectly. When you see it on our swag products, you too will think, what a great little tree!! The website, brochure, and all our materials come from a thoughtful mix of being visually emotive and intellectually informative. We trust that our vision of creating a mountain lifestyle experience in print and on the web translates into the actual experience you will have at The New Seasons at Keystone.
But as pretty and modern as our marketing may look, there is one end goal here . . . to provide a real estate opportunity to people who want to own, use and enjoy new construction condominium units in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Ground breaking is scheduled to begin in June 2018 and we are planning on delivering finished condos in mid-2019. Our on-site sales center will be open in mid-June 2018 and you can see our finishes and floor plans, and visit the location of these new condos.
For now, you can sign up on our First To Know List and be one of the very first people to learn about the details on how to own a New Seasons at Keystone condo.
We look forward to connecting with you soon.
